“THE SECRET OF GETTING AHEAD IS GETTING STARTED”

MARK TWAIN

ABOUT

ABOUT ME

Kyle is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Certified Clinical Child & Adolescent Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP-CA), and Certified Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist (ASDCS) with over 20 years of experience supporting children and families facing a range of mental health challenges. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Connecticut (UCONN) in 2006 and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from California State University, Fullerton (CSUF) in 2009. During graduate school, Kyle completed a clinical practicum at Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC).

Kyle began providing psychotherapy in 2010 as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist under the supervision of a licensed psychologist and became independently licensed in 2018. His approach is grounded in evidence-based practices—using treatment methods supported by research and tailored to each client’s unique needs. Most treatment plans incorporate strategies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a short-term, goal-oriented, and cost-effective approach. He also utilizes techniques from Solution-Focused Therapy*.

In addition to his psychotherapy work, Kyle has extensive experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and has been a BCBA since 2012. He has worked with individuals across the lifespan with developmental differences and mental health conditions, including Autism, Down Syndrome, Anxiety, Intellectual Disability, and ADHD. Kyle has a special passion for supporting parents and caregivers, recognizing the unique pressures they often face. He is also available to help with related concerns such as stress, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges.

*These interventions are not behavioral in nature and are not covered by my BACB certification.

"My treatment approach is both supportive and understanding. I like to create a safe space for you to discuss the issues that you are facing and also be a source of encouragement. I want to support you in coming up with solutions and recognizing your own capacity for change. I believe in empowering you to set goals for yourself and your treatment and supporting you in building the skills you need to meet your goals"
